We rescue and rehome cats in the Thanet area, with particular concern for elderly cats and ferals. Registered charity no. 1122296
It’s a worrying time when an animal goes missing, but many come home safe and sound, and if yours has gone missing there are a lot of things you can do. Visit the CatChat lost and found advice page for a step by step checklist – we can’t really improve on their advice.
Any cat that comes in to Cats in Crisis is checked for a microchip, to ensure you are reunited with your cat as soon as possible.
If you have lost a cat, feel free to email us with a photo and as much information as possible, so we can look out for it. We’ll forward your email to the administrators of the Missing Cats and Strays in Thanet Facebook page, as we think it’s best if all local lost and found information is accessible in one place.
We also recommend uploading the details of your missing animal to these websites:
If you are missing a cat and think you’ve spotted it on our website email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 07796 633306. We’ll provide you with as much history of the animal as we can and will reunite you if it’s yours. But please be aware that it can be hard to recognise a cat from a photo – especially black cats, white cats and tabbies, so make sure to mention any distinguishing features.
